Tuqo in VS Code with GitHub Copilot
VS Code connects MCP servers with an mcp.json file: the project's .vscode/mcp.json or the user one (the MCP: Open User Configuration command). The server's tools are available to Copilot in agent mode. Tuqo supports OAuth with dynamic client registration, so the address is all the config needs: the browser opens by itself on the first connection.
Create mcp.json
In the project: .vscode/mcp.json. Or Command Palette → MCP: Add Server / MCP: Open User Configuration for the profile config.
Describe the Tuqo server
A tuqo entry in the servers block: type http and the MCP address (example below). No OAuth client fields are needed: VS Code registers itself.
Start it and sign in
Click Start above the server entry. On first use the browser opens: sign in to Tuqo, choose the project, the scope and the lifetime.
Deploy from the chat
Switch Copilot to agent mode, check that Tuqo is in the tools list and ask "lay out a landing page and publish it": you get the live link back.

Do I need an API key? +
No. VS Code supports MCP authorization over OAuth and registers itself with the server, so type http and the address are enough in mcp.json. A tqk_ key is only for fixed access without a browser sign-in.
How do I pass a key anyway? +
The server entry has a headers field: put Authorization with the value Bearer tqk_… there. To keep the key out of the repository, move it into a VS Code input variable (type promptString, password) or an environment variable.
Where are the MCP logs? +
Command Palette → MCP: List Servers → choose tuqo → Show Output. It shows the connection, auth errors and the list of loaded tools.
I changed mcp.json and the server did not reload +
Restart the server from MCP: List Servers (Restart) or reload the VS Code window. Tools appear in agent mode only after a successful start.
Too many tools for Copilot? +
Tuqo exposes 52 tools, and agent mode limits the number of active tools. Turn off the ones you don't need in the tools picker, or connect with read-only access and switch to full access for deploys.
